Ms. Gasser joins the firm in our Houston-area office
where she will lend her expertise to the firm by handling
defense of Texas Workers’ Compensation claims, and the
defense of claims under the Longshore and Harbor Workers’ Compensation
Act and Extensions. Prior to joining Downs Stanford, P.C., Ms.
Gasser
worked for another Houston law firm where she managed Workers’ Compensation
cases and attended mediations and trials. She also worked as
a law clerk for the Harris County Community Supervisions and
Corrections Department from 2006 to 2007.
Ms. Gasser graduated from St. Edwards University with Honors,
with a B.A. in English Writing and Rhetoric in 1999 and received
her J.D. in 2006 from the University of Houston Law Center, where
she was certified in International Arbitration.
An avid runner, Ms. Gasser recently finished her fourth marathon
in January of 2014, with her best personal time.
