As an attorney for the Firm, Ms. Cochrane’s practice
focuses on commercial litigation and insurance defense, including
bad faith. Prior to joining Downs & Stanford, Ms. Cochrane
practiced at renowned litigation firms in both Texas and
Louisiana. Before attending law school, Ms. Cochrane served
as a middle and high school English teacher.
Ms. Cochrane graduated with a B.A. degree in English from
Texas A&M University in 1999. She received her J.D.
degree in 2009 from Southern Methodist University Dedman
School of Law, where she was a Hatton W. Summers Scholar,
Articles Editor for the SMU Law Review Association, and elected
to the Order of the Coif.
